Whois is a database used to check if a domain is registered and to retrieve detailed information about the domain (such as the owner, registrar, registration date, and expiration date). You can access domain information, including the registrant's contact details and registration and expiration dates, via the Whois lookup at noxtoolbox.com/whois.
Explanation of Domain Expiry and Deletion Rules:
International Domains:
(1) On the expiration date, the domain's resolution is suspended. If not renewed within 72 hours, the domain's DNS points to an advertisement page (parking). The domain enters a retention period of 30-45 days after expiration (time varies by registrar policy).
(2) After the retention period, the domain enters a redemption period (REDEMPTIONPERIOD) of 30 days.
(3) After the redemption period, the domain enters a 5-day deletion period, after which the domain becomes available for registration by anyone.
